I was shooting pictures of the hummingbirds. I didn’t see the bee until I pulled the picture up on my screen. Lucky shot. Perfect for this challenge!

Wow! Thank you for the 10 and your very kind comment. Just lucky to be at the right place at the right time. I had been hoping a hummer would show up at this flower as it stood above a patch of wildflowers I had planted. I had been periodically looking at it and know the hummers are most hungry in the morning. The sun was coming up and cast the perfect light on the backround. The bee was a bonus!

another Larry masterpiece ..
when are you going to have an exhibition of your bird and insect photos .. ?? ..
and i hear you about not even noticing the bee till you saw it on your screen .. that's happened to me often ... a real gift can appear on the monitor that i didnt notice on the camera ..
i'm so sorry about the score going down before deadline .. can be quite discouraging .. i'm so glad you got the blue despite that drop ..
and many congratulations .. the details on the bird and flower and bee are awesome .. but the gorgeous oof background is to die for ..

This is such a beautiful image, it wouldn't matter what the challenge was. However, it meets this challenge perfectly and it is absolutely stunning! The background colors are amazing like icing on a cake.
