 This was the fastest I have ever entered.. It was submitted at 8:30 am the day the challenge was announced. When I saw it the first thing I thought of was the black walnuts that had fallen from the tree in the backyard which I had been saving for just such an occasion. I didn't know what I was going to do with them but I knew I wanted to use them. Every morning I check out the garden. I saw the mushrooms growing in the mulch and the idea came to me. I had harvested the carrots the night before. They weren't very good and I was going to throw them out then it all came to me; carrot people laying under mushroom umbrellas like people at the beach! My wife had some toy props (toys for the grandchildren's doll house) that I was able to incorporate and I cut up an old towel. I set it up, took several shots to pick the one of my liking. The sun had just started to shine on the garden which dries out the mushrooms very quickly. Luckily I got a capture that I liked. (I also took an X rated one which my wife said I shouldn't enter!!! You'll have to use your imagination on that one:) )
