 took photos of a very small body of water a couple of hours before this challenge went in for voting .. making ripples .. i do that in case i want to use the ripple photos as overlay/textures ..

i wasnt thinking of this challenge when i took the photos but realized one of them might work ..

usually when i take a pic last minute it doesnt end well .. and i need to walk away for a while after an edit to see it with fresh eyes ..

entered this and felt i should take it out .. decisions decisions ..
we shall see .. ;)

after rollover ...
huge surprise .. felt i'd be lucky to get in top 10 .. :)

My highest vote - 8 for you and Fred. Truly impressionstic by subject, color and editing ( less by composition) .
Its greatest quality by my taste is that you did not use filters to imitate canvas or cheesy brush work,but created a photo based on the filosophy of “impression” and not a bastard photo of a painting to sell cheep
