was at the cycle park with my daughter .. was a lot going on looking after two children and a new baby ..
luckily she asked me to watch Leo .. he very kindly agreed to stay still when he wanted to keep riding .. just so i could take a couple of shots for this challenge ... thanks little bro ..
anyway .. seems everyone is wearing crocs these days .
.. and i dont mean just to the shops ... ;)

i actually liked how this turned out .. but in voting it didnt appeal .. mid 5's most of the week .. which is ok .. we cant always like the same things ..
but then i got the comment from Fred about crocs not being shoes ..
that never occurred to me so i looked it up ..
"Are sandals considered to be shoes?
Sandals are an open type of shoe, consisting of a sole held to the wearer's foot by straps going over the instep and around the ankle. Sandals can also have a heel."
so with the mindset that a sandal isnt a shoe i suppose boots are out too .. !! .. ;)

noun
, plural shoes, (especially British Dialect) shoon [shoon].
an external covering for the human foot, usually of leather and consisting of a more or less stiff or heavy sole and a lighter upper part ending a short distance above, at, or below the ankle. ...
Just for the record there Fred; based on the above "definition" you've quoted, many, MANY, boots fall into that exact definition. LOL
... and roz, Crocs are pretty much "shoes" IMO too. Albeit, slightly harder to defend. :-)
thanks Barry ..
I never for one second felt that crocs weren't shoes when i took the photo ..
or that it was a grey area ..
some definitions say they are and some say they aren't ..
depends on what definition you choose to believe as to how you'd view my photo .. 🙂

So in my eyes crocs are clogs not sandals and boots aren't shoes either.....sorry Roz...no hard feelings and I did give you a 5
absolutely no hard feelings Fred .. we are all entitled to our opinions and beliefs ..
the way the world is going right now though that might be a thing of the past .. 😢
