There's a pine forest nearby. I discovered it recently. The forest suffered many casualties in a large snow storm we had here a few years back. Deadfalls everywhere. I immediately thought of this location when this challenge popped up. However, this wasn't the photo I had in mind, but I like it so much better than what I'd envisoned. Really enjoyed "discovering" this. Hope you guys like it too.

the rich tones really help me linger over the scene looking for little treasures of pinecones and needles etc.
