The Greatest Escape Artist of All Time
World-famous magician, Harry Houdini, performed eight shows at the (then) Majestic. Five students from the University of Texas challenged Houdini to escape from a trick of their construction, which he did. Houdini's legacy lives on at the Paramount Theatre today in the auditorium ceiling, just to the left of the painting of Saint Cecilia. Legend has it that the Houdini hole was carved to perform a suspended levitation trick.

I would probably have cropped away the distracting elements in the lower part of the image.
