 I had to use my "old" camera because of the 1/320s flash sync speed (the flash fires multiple times while the shutter is open in order to record the full image). The 1/160s flash sync speed of my new Sony was not fast enough to record a sharp brush.

Lensbaby Edge 80 optic with a macro ring.

Seringe with water and small tube attached to tripod, just outside view of the camera.

Nikon SB600 flash from the right, triggered by and communicating with on-board flash.

Toothbrush switched on at lowest speed.
