 I have always liked Balance by timj351
which was submitted in the pencil Challenge in August 2002.

I thought I would try it with a few twists. I have added a coloured hand with two fingers, and a dayglo blue compass set, where as the original was a B/W hand with one extended finger balancing a pencil.

I used the clone tool to remove the edges of the paper the which the painted hand was on, and also for removing the fishing line which was supporting the compass.

I then used dodge, burn, curves, selective chanel mixer and some levels.

It's comments like this that give you a good warm feeling,( although I have just checked my trousers to ensure it was not something else casing the warm sensations.....)
