 An experiment with focus stacking.

A stack of 130 images (for the total spider including full legs), shot with Sony A6700 19-135 kit lens with a +4 close-up lens attached, using the focus shift shoot option of the camera.

Stacking was done using the free software from picolay.de

Spider was found in the garage and released after the shoot to the same spot, unharmed.

The total length of the spider is approx. 5 cm. The body is approx. 1 cm. Originally from the mediterranean but now also quite common more north.
