The thought of cropping occurred to me, alas too fleetingly. When I received the first comment, I decided to take a look. I think there's no question that the resulting image is more interesting than the original.

What if you crop the image to the lower rectangle (2/3rd) of bricks with just the plant and the shadow of the bird? Makes it more special IMO.
