You did a wonderful job of isolating the subjects from the background. The bg, being blackened out, is just right.
The exposure is very good on the faces, and bodies, and the lighting was well used.
The composition is good, and you've left room for potential text.
Another good thing about this is that it shows action.
Their faces show good expression too.
Overall this is well done, and I can see it being used by a stock agency for lots of purposes.
Good job!
Best of luck on future challenges.
Regards,

Grayce

Seems ot use the flash... so the lighting is very harsh and the background dark, but still shows ugly shadows. The subject is good for a stock photo, but I don't think it's good enough technically.

I can see this on the wall of every martial arts studio in the country. You have caught the intensity of the training, and put it against a black wall, the color they are going for. 9

Nice idea, but the expressions are a little flat. Maybe that's how it should be, I don't know enough about karate.

Nice colors, but the expressions of the young men do not seem realistic. The guys seem pretty static and posed. I would have liked to see those belts with a bit of motion. I also would have like this more if they were in a pose that is MEANT to be still, perhaps bowing pre-or post- match.

Awesome photo through and through! I know how hard it is to pose kids, and this is a great example on doing it right! I don't see any flaws here at all.
