This was a crop of a full body shot from the eagle on my neighbors roof. I didn’t like the roof tiles under his feet - felt inorganic. Then the head tilt and stare just begged to be cropped in (for me).

This was a 9 from me. Spectacular capture!! At first I wondered if it was a zoo shot, because it was so amazing. But then I decided it didn't matter. It tells such a story. Massive kudos for the fact it was a wild bird! And perfect crop!

i felt this would surely get a ribbon .
it actually looked like it was turning its head right around ..
a real personality shot . :)
