 A 100% crop (actual pixels from camera) of a hummingbird's face.

Shot with my Canon 50mm f2.5 Macro at f13.

Now I understand why they say this one of the sharpest lenses you can buy.

What amazing detail!! Will put that lens onto my wishlist! Am struggling along with the kit-lens for closeups still.
