CRITIQUE CLUB
Challenge: Obviously meets the challenge perfectly. It's a shot that does evoke a desperate situation, and it is so sad how we can ignore the needs of another human being.
Technique: I think the technique here is great. I think it would have been even more compelling if you would have crouched down, to get the perspective of the person looking up at the crowd. The image is also very small, making it hard to see the details. The black and white works great.
Overall: A great image that definitely meets the challenge and opens our eyes. Very well done. |

| Gritty, gutsy, meaningful photo that haunts me (as it should). In this photo, you might try fiddling with contrasts as well to get darker darks. The composition is good, too with the victim at lower left. A very nice candid! |
