Greetings From the Critique Club
Composition: Lovely Photo! Good idea, but a little too posed for my idea of despair!
The black and white format is perfect for this image though.
Kate reminds of the little match Girl of the fairy tales.
Exposure: It could be a little more contrasty it is leaning a little toward being overexposed.
I am also surprised that this didn't place a bit higher! Keep up the good work! |

| As much as I like the idea of this photo, it looks just a bit too posed. She is obviously a clean-cut, well loved little girl! I would recommend messying her hair a bit and giving her a dirty face and hands. The blanket is also a bit too polished. I still love it though and gave it a good score! Great job. |

| The colors, or lack thereof, are a good choice for the subject. I do not really like the narrow crop, but that is more of a personal preference. I believe the challenge was met. |
