I looked up at the mountainside as I walked out the door after work. I was purposefully looking for some sort of face to meet this challenge. This image was instantly obvious. I wondered why I hadn't noticed her before.

I desaturated, cropped, dodged and burned. I also eliminated a telephone wire running across the upper left corner.

A very good entry with a lot of detail.

Whoa, that is freaky. Look like this was in a crater. Good find.

How did you see that? Great find.

Eerie! But a bit lacking in contrast and the inclusion of the uninspiring sky doesn't help. Amazing find, nonetheless.

what does the color pic look like? imo the blue frame does not really help the pic.

I can see the face but the border police will be after you :)

why blue border? adds nothing, annoys somewhat. nice face tho

The bright blue border immediately takes your eye off the photo, which defeats the entire purpose of the photo.

A little grainy, but very interesting. I think I would have cropped with and without the sky to see the impact.

This image looks altered. It's very blury around the face and everthing else is in focus. UPDATE: Thanks for the email stating that it was not altered. Have to put it back at my first vote now.

Kinda plain, but it's great for the challenge. The face just jumped right out at me, 8

It's like x-files creepy, nice job.

Cool shot, this could be cropped a bit more.

This is a very impressive photo. You must have a very good eye.

This has a lot of potential... I'd lose the border, however. Boost the contrast, maybe make it a duotone. Good eye.

Cool face! I would have rated this a bit higher without the border.
