 This is my first submission to DPC. Guess everybody will let me know if they like it. "Only Time Will Tell". In a dark bedroom I used a small maglite covered with a paper towel to filter the light. Painted the light. After about 20 shots, I felt this one was the best. Cropped and a small adjustment of curves.

NIce idea. I really like your lighting here. The hourglass appears slightly tilted to me, I find it just a bit distracting.

Composition: 7, I think it would look much better if it were straight with the frame.
Technical: 7, Not grainy, good capture with the subdued light.
Appeal: 5, Needs another factor. What are we timing..or something like that.
