Light source is sunlight thru window with blinds open. This shot may have come out too clear because it shows the mill marks in the wood which some (non-woodworkers) may consider a photo blem. Hope not, only time will tell.

Nice shot. The wood shavings are a very nice touch. Good crisp photo. I think compositionally, is pretty good, but may be improved if the bottom of the plane were not quite so close to the bottom of the photo.

I was surprised to see so few hand cutting tools. This is quite appealing, but the tight foreground cropping is unfortunate. you have plenty of extra space up top, doing nothing much.
