 My guitar.
Flash fired at slow sync and turned down to -2.0. I held a sheet of white paper with my teeth on the side to bounce off some light, coming through the window and from the flash, back to the headstock to balance the shadows.

Processing: (Nikon Capture Editor & Photoshop CS)
- Adjusted contrast in Nikon Capture Editor.
- Transfered to Photoshop as an 8bit TIFF.
- Cropped to aspect.
- Adjusted curves.
- Converted to Monochrome.
- Converted to Tritone.
- Applied Unsharp Mask.

The finger print is a nice touch. (Sorry for the pun. Maybe that sould be a New Year's resolution but it's not.)
Kidding aside, I like almost everything about this: framing, colors, sharpness. Just great!

Composition is good. Some nice detail. Your color/tone I think works good here. I think an improvement could be with lighting, either take the shadows away or make them more dramatic. Good shot. Nice lines that have the eye traveling across the photo.

I find this one interesting. I like the composition, and the fact that you can see a fingerprint on one of the tuners. I am a little turned off by the low light. I think the lighting could have been a bit more dynamic. Overall good work - 7.

A great diagonal composition with sepia to give it that extra grit. Good textures and good focus.
