| This was a fun shot for me. I found an old axle on a farm and took a variety of shot and angles. This was my favorite. And to me, Gear is almost synonomous with mechanical. So, I messed with the post processing more than usual. Thank you, you four kind people who commented on this photo! One other note, very proud to recieve no "1"s. |

| I like the rust and the detail. The out of focus foreground is a little distracting, and the large white space in the upper right draws the eye out of the frame a bit. I am also not real keen on the almost purple color. That said, I do think this is an interesting subject choice and a good choice of angle. OK shot - 6. |
