I've ridden around on this thing for something well over 5,000 miles.
Editing includes desaturation, adjustments of levels to enhance tonal range, and the use of lightly grained duplicate layers: "soft grain" at 27%, normal blending, and "horizontal grain" at 15%, multiply blending.
I can't say I'm thoroughly happy with this picture. The focus was not as good as I wanted it to be, so I applied the Sharpen filter. That helped, but I didn't fix it. I would have liked to take the picture with a smaller aperture, but I just didn't have the time for it I would have liked. Ideally, I would like to place better than I did in the last challenge in which I participated (Wind), which was the 65th percentile, but I'm not counting on it. |

Composition: 7, Well placed and cropped subject.
Technical: 9, Good use of B/W with just enough detail.
Appeal: 9, I like this as it has grown on me since I first looked at it.
