I really had a hard time choosing a picture for this challenge. I had a coupld that I absulutely loved. This is acutally my second submission and I think I'm gonna stick with it. Hope it does good!

This is a nice shot. The blurred background and use of color highlight the subject nicely, and the scraf leads the eye to the smoke, which is light enough to stand out against the background - and the face of the passerby in the background seems to give commentary on the smoke.

My one nit with the image is the bright spot in the upper right corner. It offers competition to the puff of smoke. If you could burn that area in, make it a bit darker, it wouldn't pull on the viewer's eye, trying to take it away from the center of the image.

Nice job.

It's fine without the colorization, esp. if you either zoom in or otherwise emphasize the subject, or, show more of the surroundings and his relationship with them.

For me personally there is too much emphasis on the subject, it is difficult to understand his purpose, his emotions at the time as we do not know what is happening around him. I could be wrong though.

Nice shot. I wish you didnt saturate the scarf. Would have been more powerful in B&W. Good capture though!
