Very funny caption and an excellent photo. The motion blur is really great (and as you know, not easy to do well). Focus and color tones are very appealing too. Nice job & congrats on your 15th place finish! |

good shot that fits the topic well but I would have preferred a slightly lighter background to give more separation/definition to the subject |

The lighting on this is too obscure for me to accept. It works wellon the reel, but the rod is getting lost. Also, the yellow pinstripe on this one is way too agressive IMO. |

REALLY cool shot! The motion is fabulous. The black background and the thin border are just great. You have a very good eye for this! |

Love the dark background and the motion blur adds a lot of drama and action. Well done. |

Great idea, nice motion...might've also been interesting to rotate image to point rod toward top right corner. Nice shot. |

great idea, but i feel like the horizontal orientation is somewhat static in nature (despite the revolving reel). perhaps a diaganol orientation would have been more interesting. |

Cute! Great exposure and motion. It would be much stronger if the axis of the pole/reel was diagonal. Good lighting technique and choice of background. Yellow border seems out of place, try white instead. Even with the nits, it's an 8 from me. |

The motion seems to be distracting here. |
