 I should have stirred the cream and chocolate before I took the image, but I did not and I had the whole setup removed before I realised that.

I managed to create the smooth effect in post editing using a twirl filter. I don't like lots of post-editing and I might be crossing the line of what is allowed in editing, but I am going to submit anyway. Still-lifes don't score high anyway, so I won't be hurting anybody.

I wanted to create a relaxed "early morning" atmosphere.

One low floodlight from low right.

Post editing : rotate, crop, resize, diffuse glow filter, curves, sharpen, selective twirl filter, save for web.

Love the earthy tones, great swirls in the latte. Like the triangular arrangement and crop. Enjoy everything in moderation. Good luck and HNY.

beautiful, soft, serene tonalities support the resolution extremely well. A luscious picture at that level. I'm not sure the composition is all it could be; I'd be thinking move the leftmost saucer down a tad and in a tad, i think. And if the spoon in the leftmost saucer were rotated counterclockwise maybe 5-7% that might be a little stronger...
