Kurt Vonnegut was once sitting at a table at some social event, smoking by himself, when a woman came up to him and asked what he was doing.

"Committing suicide by cigarette," he said.

Sepia works well for this picture, but I wish it were a bit darker. Contrast looks ok; it's just too bright.

I really don't like the processing here, I think it hurts rather than helps what is a common theme in this challenge- hard to make this resolution stand above the others like it.

I'm not so sure the attempt at high-key is successful here. Would've liked to see a little more contrast. In my mind, high-key glamourizes things which contradicts with your meaning behind the photo.
