The biggest distraction here is the foreground. The high contrast and detail grab the viewer's eye, and there's nothing else in the image strong enough to compete with it. There's no line or shape to urge the eye from the foreground to the background.
It's basically a photo of te ground with some fireworks in the background, and I think it should be the other way around. |

I like the way the foreground scenery remains well exposed with all the fireworks working in the background. The sharp shadows paint the landscape. The figure standing next to the vehicle is also a nice touch. I tried shooting some fireworks with quite dismal results and I salute you for such splendid results, bravo!

Somewhat interesting photo, but doesn't seem to fit the challenge. Also I can't tell if anything here is in focus. |

It's interesting that, with the fireworks as an element in your photograph, the ground would take up so much of the shot. |

Your resolution is to start more fires? Perhaps you missed the theme of the challenge? |
