Don't think selective desaturation works here, makes it too cheesy. Otherwise it's a very good shot of a pretty smart looking dog. The only thing i would add is a little more space on the right and on top. |

This is both amusing and startling. I'm not 100% sure I like the hyper-blue eyes, but even wiothout them it would be an appealing image so I give it a good score. Personally I'd score it higher without the blure, but I am sure many will disagree. |

I really like this dog. You picture makes me want to take him for a walk myself. What doesn't work for me is keeping his eyes in color. To me this is a distraction that really does not add to the image or show me anything more about his personality. I'm still rating this a 6 because of the quality of the portrait and the dog's expression. Did you try one that was totally black and white? |

Nice closup, like the desat, eyes are nice and sharp. How can you you resist when he brings the leash. HNY and good luck. |

Selective desat done tastefully...I think it highlights the eternal hope in her eyes. Tonal range is very pleasing in this photo. Good composition overall. 8 |

Actually the best of the dog shots that I have seen, and one of the better entries in this contest! I like the tonal range, and the eyes really add punch! Welldone! 9 |

The selective desat works well for me. Beautiful creature, your dog. Such an animated face. Sweet shot. 10 |
