 This is my first entry into a challenge, and I'm not sure what I think is going to come from this picture score wise. Still getting used to the new camera and all, only post editing done was color, levels, contrast, and then put into black and white with hue/saturation.

Love this picture: expanse, tones, feel, as people have said; the bit of laundry and the neat way this fits the challenge just crank up the viewer's delight.

This is an outstanding entry for a first try at a challenge. Congartulations and keep reading that manual as most of the secrets are there. Practice, practice and soon you will be on your way.

I like the tones in your picture. This is a great subject and works well for the challenge. I might have cropped a little more from the right side. I don't think it adds any value to you composition. I bet you could get an interesting picture here in all four seasons. Might be interesting in summer with clothes hanging to dry or with fall colors. Good luck in the challenge.
