Added a person to the scene to impart a dynamic element. The color chosen was red because of its impact symbolizing being in the red i.e. losing money. The hand and background where the person is walking into is red which thematically links the person to the credit card. It may be interpreted symbolically as someone headed to financial ruin because of the red coloring or as someone abandoning bad financial practice by leaving the scene. The letter tray was positioned to keep the eyes on the scissors and card. It also evens out the overall tone though I think they might be too big. Also the only tricky part to the lighting is goboing the credit card to eliminate reflection.

You're right the lighting is too low. I didn't notice it. After adjusting it looks better.

Denis, I kinda suspected this was yours when I saw both Denis and Montreal on the card ;)
Great shot and congrats on a personal best!

I really like the colors in this one. Not sure if I like the boarder or not. Would be just a little better if the handles were not cut off. I'm giving it a 9. See you at the top, good luck.

Good job. I like the action in the backround. It tells the viewer there is a story behind the picture. Well done.

Me likes -- very good use of selective desaturation, the man in the background adds alot of depth and the composition is spot on

Lovely to see an image "telling a story" in such a subtle way. Without the hand, a 5 or 6. With it, a definite bump up.
