Darn I am surprised this didnt do better. I like it. Maybe a smoother background would have helped. I wonder if people have something against woody?

Nice setup and composition, although the seam is distracting. Better lighting is needed to avoid the bright spots.

the combination of the purple backdrop, woody and the cigarette in ashtray seems like an incongruous grouping, just for the sake of grouping. The lighing is too hard for my tastes. And this is a very common resolution. Nothing here makes me go "wow".

It's not in your eyes that you should worry about the smoke going. Good luck.

I like the...irony(?) of using a wooden figure in conjunction with the subject of smoking
