Nice expression- high key works with her, but by the same token seeing a little more contrast in her features would be nice. The background feels odd to me, by not being able to really tell what it is the dark area makes it feel as if part of the background has simply been torn away. Too much border for me.

I like the idea, and the high-key. I'm not so keen on how the overexposed skin (especially on her nose) blends into her hair and the background. It makes her nose appear a lot bigger than it is.

what an interesting image. she really appears to be totally absorbed. i think the composition is interesting, but the bokeh-type lights are really distracting (very much at odds with the rest of the image). i hope you are getting some good comments and suggestions, and not being overlooked in this monster-size challenge. good luck!

One pretty nice portrait. Lighting and soft focus are great. Facial expression could perhaps be a little better, but otherwise very well done. An accomplished portrait for sure. 7.

I'll regret asking, but what are all the little spheres that appear to be flying out of her mouth? Did she sneeze? The background seems irrelevant and confusing, and detracts from the portrait, which I would have otherwise rated higher. Sorry. 4.

The background being out of focus works great here.

Nice soft portrait, did you use a filter for that soft light effect? I like it, it's almost as though she were softly glowing.
