 Shot at the 2005 Mummers Day Parade in Philadelphia. In between shots of the parade, I turned and shot several candids of the people watching the parade and some of the marchers that were done for the day. This mummer ran into this lady who I think he knows cause he was on the phone yelling "Where the hell are you?" presumably to her husband. This made the lady smile and laugh. Of the ones I shot this was the one that I think actually caught a moment. I love her laughing face and his costume. Sort of works for me. The others are more caught portraits with distractinos all about.

Post: PSElements: Layer adjustments for levels, brightness contrast, hue and saturation. USM. Slight distortion adjustment to straigten the top of the brick wall. Thought it was too saturated, his costume anyways and her hair. Re-opened in PSP 8 and used one step photo finish which toned it down a bit. Also some barrel roll distortion on the bricks was adjusted and the re-adjusted. Re-opened in PSElements and did one more minor distortion correction and then cropped. Did a layer adjustment of hue/saturation. Merged. USM. Resized. USM.

Fun looking moment. Your skin tones appear to be little off. Not sure what you're trying to convey with the shot. Not terribly interesting.

Fine expression captured. Jester is apparently using a cellphone, pity we can't see it. I wish the point of critical sharpness were on the woman's face and the jester were slightly out of focus. A strong entry.

Though I'm not a huge clown fan, I think this is a very genuine shot. Her expression is definately real. I wonder what that clown is doing thats so darn funny!?
