ok, please bear with me. voting this challenge is extremely difficult, not just because of the size, but because we are dealing with images that people consider their best. it makes even constructive criticism hard...
this is a beautiful image, and i really love the colors. however, as a challenge entry, it just doesn't have any visual drama that is going to grab the viewer and hold them. this would be perfect for a travelogue, but i doubt if it will fare to well with the dpc voters. you'll get a 6 from me. good luck! |

| Image is okay...good use of photography basics with the off-centre framing...It would have had a little more punch if it was possible to capture this image when they "fired" it up. Good Luck. |

| I find this photo to lack subject or interest. Good crop and positioning but the clarity is a little off. Maybe motion blur? |

| Nice, simple, happy image. Perhaps not all that exciting against the clear sky (some dramatic clouds would have helped) but hey, we can't choose the weather! |
