 While walking on the ancient walls around York [England] I thought the view of the York Minster towering above the rest of the city was fascinating. So, I took the picture. I love the U.K. and I can't wait to go back!

As for what's been done to the photo, I had to rotate it 1 degree to the right, cropped it, and used auto levels.

this is an interesting take on a most recognizeable landmark. good work! love the colors. even moreso, i love how all the modern life you've included here seems to be watched over by this austere house of worship. i hope this isn't getting overlooked in this huge challenge, and that viewers are giving this the time necessary to appreciate it. thanks for sharing. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come!
