My husband is sitting on a rock in the frozen Conejos River near Fox Creek. It was very windy and cold. I had the tripod set up on another rock upstream. While taking the picture there was a small rock slide on the cliff across from the river which was startling.

Very Nice. Your photo brings back some memories.
Background: Spent some time at a guest ranch (Rainbow Trout Ranch) near there and fished in the Conejos (in warmer weather).

The title fits the picture very well. I like the reflection of the trees in the frouen river/pond. But at the same time the water creates a large empty space that you should fill somehow. 6.

Definately meets the challenge, but doesn't do anything for me visually. The tree branch in the top left is destracting as well.
