 Editing: Crop, levels, saturation, contrast, shadow detail, warming filter, resize, unsharp mask just on the main cow, extra sharpening with the sharpening tool on the eyes.

This red cow was in a field not too far from my house with a lot of black cows. She was really sweet and friendly compared to the others. Cows have such beautiful eyes - it almost makes you want to be a vegetarian.

This is my first entry with my Rebel, I'm finally getting more used to it. The lens used was the Canon 28-135 IS. Frankly, I think I got almost as good of Bokeh with my FZ20 but I liked this shot the best.

I really like this cow. He has an emotive expression. I do wish you had cropped out the crooked horizon line, helping the eye to be focused on the subject. I do like the blur of the barbed wire in the front and back nice use of DOF. I also like the 3 blurred cows on the right. pulls your eye in a diagonal way.

and a nice portrait it is, indeed. i think you would have had a stronger bokeh entry, though, without the other cows in the background. they are more of a distraction away from your subject than an enhancement that supports your subject.

I love it! Great composition, excellent focus and DOF. Might be improved by cropping a little from the top, but then again, maybe not...

Well Moooo. Nice lighting. Brings out the warm brown of the cow's coat. Too bad she has a tag in her ear but can't be helped.

What a pretty cow. The composition has potential. I think it could have been improved if you had squatted down a bit, for a more direct angle on the cow and the inclusion of a bit of level skyline. The seemingly off level landscape, showing a smidge of sky on only one side, is distracting. The background cows are great.
