| The reflection of the bird in the water is nice, as is the color, but the upper area of this shot is over-exposed, hurting the overall look. ((5)) |

| Great bird picture, but the highlights in the background are all blown out. I always find these types of shots difficult to pull off. They are always metering nightmares. |

| oh, what a moment you've captured here. aren't these birds beautiful? i hope your image is not getting overlooked in this huge challenge, and that you are getting good feedback. as much as i like what you've entered, i can't help but feel it is somewhat unfinished, that there are a few things left to do in post-processing that could really take this image up a notch. but, hey, that's just my opinion. you have a nice image, and that's what matters. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come! |

| Great subject - i like what you've tried to do with the reflection in the foreground - but it's spoilt a little by the debris floating in the water. The focus on the flamingo is spot on, but the overexposed background is a little distracting. |

| Too bad about the backround being so heavily overexposed because the pelican is perfectly exposed and in a very interesting location and position so it could have been a great shot. Keep it up. |

| if you'd cropped out the blown highlights at the top, or used a graduated neutral density filter, I would have rated this much higher! |

| The highlights in the background are bit destracting, probably better to crop tighter on the top of the image. |
