| Looking at these for your entry. I love the scene here and the composition. The light looks like it's wonderfully interesting. But something seems calibrated wrong. It seems too dark, or maybe just too low contrast. You might tweak it a little. Depending on how it prints, it could be a real contender. |

Jen, this is a beautiful shot of the Sodus Bay lighthouse. I live just outside of Buffalo and spent a night there last summer. While I didn't vote on your photo, I would have given it an 8 or 9. While I was at Sodus bay, I took this photo:
Yours just seems much "crisper". Keep up the great work!

| This is another lovely shot you have here... very nice post process and ni love the compistion, the seagulls, the light house and the boat are just really nice on this photo. great shot overall i gave it an 8... very nice |

Beautiful light and color. A pleasure to view!
I absolutely loved photographing the Lake Ontario region I lived by while living in Syracuse. Spent 9 months there and drove up to Selkirk Shores area quite a few times. Gorgeous place! |

| what a beautiful moment you have captured. i like how your birds actually look like birds--mine usually come out like dots that need to be cloned out! love the hues. i hope this is not being overlooked in this huge challenge, and that it is getting the attention it deserves. regardless of how it scores, i am sure it would look good printed large and hanging on a wall. good luck with this and the challenges yet to come! |

| Wow! A breathtaking picture that stirs the emotions the second you look at it. I seriously don't see how anyone could give this anything but a 9 or 10. A 10+ from me! |

| Love the lighting here. The two white towers add a tonne of image. All but one of those birds though should probably be cloned out - they look more like dirty splotches on the screen that birds - the one with its wings extended is gorgeous though. Overall you've done a really great job with this. 7. |
