Hi Sandler.

I don't know where to start on this, so to start with, please don't take this personally :}

I like photos to make me say "Wow!" Your photo does not. It's out of focus.
You should have "whitened" everything up, at least the snow a touch and then perhaps the egg another "touch" up.
There's no visual impact! There's nothing there to grab my interest, so I have to look to see what else I can see. . .

Technical qualities: The photo's not even sharp, it's not even in focus, the colours (in this case, the white's) don't even stand out and shout at me!

The low score of 3.9 on this photo may be telling you something. Is it an issue on visual impact that held your score down? There doesn't seem to be an aspect of this particular photograph to make it stand out above other shots.

Study other photographs that have been entered in the Challenges. You've got other shots that have scored high. What happened to this one? Keep trying. . . and keep up the effort.
Sincerely,
Ed

Nice idea. I like the composition of the image. I think that the lighting needs to be adjusted though, because the image is too dark. Good job.

the white egg greyed out your snow. maybe an exposure compencation on +0.3 may have lightened and whitened the snow some (+ adds light - subtracts light)
