| I like this border, though I wish is was smaller. I don't like the fact that it's the first thing I noticed. I also moight have gone for a tiny bit faster shutter speed to really catch those drops sharply. Nice composition and interesting colors. |

ok, i like the colors, the impact, the composition, and the basic execution. but, there's just something that's not clicking for me. i hate to criticize, especially knowing how hard it is to catch a shot like this, but something just seems off. maybe it's the pattern of the splash and the lighting on it? oh well, don't mind me. good luck!
(ps: i'm not going to hold it against you that you didn't completely wipe up the surface between takes...) |

This effect has become a classic now, but it's well done, good colors.
Just take away the frame :) |

| Wow, what an imaginative shot! The hard to identify liquid and background, the splash *not* being contained in the frame, the bizarre border, yet it all comes together in an image that somehow just works! - 9 |

| Seen plenty of these shots, however not very many from this angle. Not sure if I like it. The border definately takes away from this image. I also think I would have preferred the lighting more above the glass (having it capture the ice cube). Good Luck. |

| What is that? Looks like and ice cube in chocolate milk or maybe a yoohoo. Good stopped motion but your background is kind of blah IMO. |

| Solid, well lit, stop motion. Really like the background here. Much more interesting than the standard black or white. |
