Greetins from the Critique Club...
I'm not an expert on bokeh, personally, but I must say I guess the out of focus background does help the in focus object (the lens cover).
Your exposure looks great and composition looks great as well -- I like the positioning of the camera and the strap infront of it like that. I think it adds a bit of interest to the photo.
Overall, I think your final score suffered because it just doesn't stand out and grab the viewer as being something great and unique. Although for what it is, it's a great photograph, and, in my opinion, perfectly framed for a photo of a camera. |

The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Yes, though the photo doesn't "grab" me. |

Nice idea. The strap is a little distracting and perhaps the lens glass would have been more aethetic that the lens cover for this photo. |
