| The lighting of this photo makes it difficult to see the "Queen of the Damned." But it was an excellent concept. |

1) i guess to light such things is quite difficult - and therefore most of the blacks (incl the queen) somehow vanish in the background
2) who is the damned here? - the queen is black and its subjects seem to be much better off then the pile of whites

| I like the concept but perhaps the king is a tad too dark and there seems to be a little greenish cast visible. |

| dark and disconcerting, but the dark pieces are lost in the background which is a pity. the image looks nice and sharp |

| White balance appears off or as a warming filter was used. Dark pieces get lost in the background, including the queen. |
