 I am not really in this one. I visited the puppet maker and the marionette with the sequine dress had to leave for performance. The dress made the most attractive spherical aberrations. Anyway, I took the image exactly how I wanted without the sequine marionette and because of obligations I was unable to return for the shoot on Sunday. Came home with company and was even too late to remove my placeholder image, which is not bokeh at all.

It would have been the same image but with the sequine dress puppet right near the center rear.

Great consternation, but things do happen.

The perfect in camera dof was badly composed and not used. This dof is created in ps. Selected the puppet maker, table and statues and placed on separate layer. Also selected the two big puppetes. GB the background and then a little less for the two puppets. Cut doen the hue sat for the backgrounds and applied um to main subject.

Too much distraction in the bg.

wouldve liked more dramatic lighting on the master and more variety in the sharpness of the background.. gaussian blur?

Like this one, would definitely have given it a higher score if the DOF would have been shorter.

not quite bokeh, but i venture that you've heard this before (or will be hearing it later). in any other challenge, this may have worked well though.
