Background is a bit confusing, and too close in tonal range to the foreground. Kind of hard to distinguish the shot glasses that are in focus from the blurred background. |

This is cheating. Using glass is strictly prohibited because it produces instant bokeh. Note some of the blobs and they tell you how many blades the shutter has.
Very nice image with great romatic colors and the bokeh does not take first billing. Bumping up. |

Too busy because the background isn't as out of focus as possible (imo). |

Your bokeh in this image is rather nice. The problem lies with your subject. If your focal point is the shotglass, then you should have composed it so that it wasn't dead center in your shot. If the focal point was meant to be the bottle, then you should have moved the vodka bottle further back (as to not be distracting) and probably done something else with the shot glasses cause they draw the attention away from the bottle. The background is nice....not distracting. |
