 Spot edited a distracting piece of litter out of the foreground. Should have edited out that address showing above the doorway.

Otherwise, I really love how this photo came out. I love the repeat of the green and red of the background in here green shirt and red shoes. I like the way the lines of the wall, street, and sidewalk "box" the subject. The overall composition and balance just feels right to me.

Some will likely criticize the the blown highlights. She was in really bright sunlight so I don't know if there was much to be done about that. And anyway, I think the effect of the text being washed out works and emphasizes the heat of an afternoon sun.

ETA - Very disappointed by this photo's score. :( I do not think it deserves an average below 5 at all.

Casually brilliant! Light, colors, pose,setting, theme, mood - so like an unknown canvas of Edward Hopper...IMHO would be nice to crop a tiny bit on top to get rid of this gadjet above the door or just edit it out

what an interesting image. i hope you are not getting lost in the shuffle of this monster-sized challenge, and that you are getting some good feedback. as a challenge entry, this may or may not score well, but it definitely has its place here, and i thank you for sharing. good luck with this, and the challenges yet to come!

Just a little bit too much going on with no clear point of focus. I think it's where she is placed - too near the middle. Nice idea. and good exposure in bright sun.

Nice candid here - the focus seems a little soft which holds this image back a little - maybe try in black and white too ??
