I don´t really agree with biggis about this being the best image in the challenge but it´s way way way underrated, in my opinion should have done a 6+. Keep up the good work. Anyway, didn´t have time to go through all of the shots in this challenge so I didn´t vote on it but would have given it an 8.

love it!! there's something about the look of this one.. the colors and contrast really pop on it.. it makes something otherwise boring seem way more interesting. great job!

yes, this makes me feel cold! from the looks of things, you probably would have had a stronger challenge entry if you had adjusted your angle slightly and cropped in on the center part of the post. you are on the right track, just keep on working with it!

the color snow in this picture feels slightly unreal, and the composition is not very appealing

This picture has a shallow depth of field, but no bokeh. The out of focus background doesnt enhance your subject in any way. Also the post itself looks a little grainy with quite a bit of noise. Best part about the picture is the lighting....probably taken in the late afternoon sun. Nice job.

The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." We sort of see that here. Mainly we see just an out of focus background. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Not really. If there is a relationship between the front and back it is impossible to discern.
