This is a beautiful image. The background compliments the subject nicely, and the subject is nice and crisp. However, in my opinion, it's not a perfect example of using bokeh to enhance an image. I tend to think of bokeh as 'out-of-focus specular highlights.' To me, this is more an example of shallow depth of field. But, it's such a great photo that I can't see myself giving it less than a 10. Congratulations on a wonderful photo!

Bright and colorful. The busy colorful background works well in this image. |

effective shot no doubt, but I don't think the bokeh is strong enough ? I guess we all interpret bokeh differently. Whatever is in the top right corner is distracting, but apart from that, nice and sharp with good colours ! |

Tack sharp image with beautiful background colors. Great photo.
The brown leaf that touches the glass in the upper RH corner draws my attention away from the subject...but that's just me being picky. |

The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." We do see some of that here. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Most definitely. A very beautiful image. |

More shallow DOF than bokeh, to me. Wonderful calrity on the glass. Overstaurated in the yellow range, to my eye; the leaves are taking me away from the blass. |
