Well I'm not proud of the process but I took this neat shot and googled Barn. Found this movie called Murder in the Red Barn.

The synopsis is: Corder is a shallow, evil, loathsome man whose heart is as black as the night. His facade is powerful enough it seduce the pretty young maiden Maria Marten. She is drawn to him and to her doom. --- yee gawd! Released 5/2004. If anyone tells me they've seen it I'll be amazed ;)

Cropped, boosted the red and blue colors, adjusted levels and saved for the web.

Thanks for aknowledging the color and creepy feel -- it's what I, too, liked about the shot.

Barn is fabulous, but where's the murder?

Your composition gives off an ominous feeling so the title fits very well and I really like the colors you've captured.

I like how you captured the wood, very poignant. But the roof and the resting sky do no good. I don't quite know how to fix this, maybe a tighter crop?

wow! is that the actual colour, or did you do some adjusting? the texture of the wood is lovely, but i'm not so sure about the positioning because there's a ledge or something at the bottom of the frame that kind of interrupts continuity. if u had panned a little lower, it might have been even more beautiful.
