Looks like you've overdone the Neatimage here. WIth better post-processing this would be a really nice picture.

I like the pose and color, but this looks oversharpened to me.

it looks like there's an overly strong gaussian blur effect

way too much Neat Image or other post processing. She looks very cute but you have filtered out all the natural details.

Too much NeatImage (or equivalent) Skin looks like wax. Then the light reflections... Beautiful eyes, indeed. And smile

Way too much Neat Image here.

someone went a little too crazy with the blur

Beautiful eyes yes. Not sure if you did this or not, but the whole image feels way post processed. The skin looks like it was hit with Neat Image, and then the hair sharpened seperatley. If it wasn't in post processing, then the image is somehow giving off a very artifical feel.

Looks like a lot of NeatImage, or whatever you use to reduce noise.

please bear with me on this. this is a tough challenge to vote, not just because of its size, but because we are looking at images that people consider to be their best from the past year--and most people have a bit more personal attachment to these images than to one they might submit for a challenge called "kitchen objects".

you do have a beautiful model, and i hope you have many, many opportunities to photograph her. in this image, though, yes, her eyes are beautiful, but the image is processed to the point that she no longer looks natural. i hope you are getting some good comments and suggestions, and that you are not getting overlooked in this monster-sized challenge; if not, don't take it personally; just consider this a good starting point for the rest of the year. good luck in this and all the coming challenges!

Sorry but i really do not like the plastic look to the face. It looks like it`s been put through neat image with the incorrect settings.

could be good but look very very overprocessed.

This has been oversharpened. You can see it along the edge of the chin, throughout the hair and eyebrows, on the lips, etc. Yet it also looks softened. Perhaps NeatImage was used? Sometimes NI is too agressive and you have to turn it down so you don't soften too much or sharpen too much.

Yikes...way too much neat image and sharpening...takes away from her real beauty.

this image has an aggressive sharpening, and it seems that before sharpening you blurred it or it was out of focus.

I feel this is far too over processed and sharpened.

One thing that goes against this picture is that it´s severly oversharpened, it does not have a natural feeling to it..

This looks like a really lovely photograph- she has a Grace Kelly look about her. Unfortunately, heavy use of Neat Image or something similar really detracts. I find myself looking more at the unreal quality of the image rather than the subject herself.

For some reason this photo has a very artificial look to it, at least to me, almost like she was a doll. I am not sure if this is from the lighting or post processing but I find it oddly disturbing.

I think a program like neat image was used too intensively here (Perhaps). The skin looks very plasticy and unreal,
Nice pose focus and composition though.

Looks over processed to me. The skin looks like plastic.

This looks way overprocessed to me, making the hair look artificial. Nice model!

Yes, she has beautiful eyes. This could be a very nice photo, but IMO, it suffers from poor post processing. The skin has become plastic from Neat Image, and the hair looks like straw from oversharpening. I would start over with the original. I think there is potential in this shot.

The skin in this pic looks very strange to me, and the hair oversharpened?

Woah now, way too neatimaged, she's a pretty girl but it looks too overprocessed.

Either the girl or the photo appears heavily over-processed. Pretty sure it's the photo. Sorry. 4.

It is a nice moment. Good capture. It looks over processed though too much sharpening and maybe trying to smooth the skin.

This looks intensely over neat imaged...too unnatural

A little too much neat image has given a plastic light quality of the skin. For me this detracts from the overall enjoyment of this photograph

This could be a really cute image but it's been overprocessed - too much Neat Image or blur and way oversharpened. The oversharpening is very noticeable in her hair - it looks wet with glowing edges. Her lips and eyes also show the oversharpening. She's cute and has pretty eyes but this would look and score much better if it weren't so processed.

Good shot, but I think it may be a tad over sharpened. I notice it more in the texture of her hair.

The skin tones are quite nice in this one but the hair looks very over shapened to my eye

Is that a doll or something ??? Theres something not quite right about this shot - Don't know whether its the lighting but it makes her look somewhat plasticky. Th focus is spot on though.

A bit (a lot!) too much neatimage... This is so noise-reducted and smoothed that the skin looks like rubber and the hair becomes a gell-mess. A shame really, because the lighting ain'd bad.

It looks like a bite too much "neat image", but good perspective and capture of the expression...

Pretty model but looks oversharpened - and maybe too much Neat Image. I think the pose is a little awkward when viewing but the smile is charming and lighting seems good. BOL

On my monitor this image looks to be slightly over processed which is a shame really because it is such a wonderfull smile.
