Nice work! The eyes look very nice.
Comments:
On my monitor there appears to be a some varying tones in the white background. Did you try to use the white sampler in the level adjustment to create as much pure white as possible?
As for the composition I like what you have but I think if you had the entire cat in the shot it would be a lot more powerful.
Being a dog lover I still like your work so far. |

| I'm not an expert on high key, infact I haven't worked it out myself yet.............but I love this shot!! It's absolutely gorgeous!! Would make a wonderful print. |
